Dr. Gill
Dentist
Dr. Sarbjit Gill obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto in 2016, where he graduated with Honours. Upon graduation, he and his wife moved to Swift Current and he started working as an associate at Dental Arts Clinic; his diligence to provide excellent dental care to his patients made him the perfect candidate to become owner of the clinic in 2018. His passion is to make all our patients feel comfortable and have a great dental experience by expanding the procedures we offer to include moderate IV sedation and same day in-office milled crowns. He is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. Outside of work, Dr. Gill enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with family. He also spends his free time volunteering with the Kiwanis Club of Swift Current and the Southwest New Comer Welcome Centre.
Dr. Harmandeep Johal
Dentist
Dr. Harmandeep Johal was born and raised in a rural community of northern India (Punjab). She earned her bachelors of dental surgery degree from Baba Farid University, Punjab India in 2014 and practiced general dentistry for a couple of years in India before moving to Canada in 2016. Upon moving to Canada, she and her husband made Swift Current their hometown. She successfully completed the Canadian Dental certification process in July 2022; she is a licensed member of the Canadian Dental Association and The College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan. She has also obtained additional training of nitrous oxide sedation. Dr. Johal loves being able to help patients with their smiles and overcoming their fear of dentistry. She has a great respect for her profession and strives for perfection in all she does. She speaks three languages – English, Punjabi and Hindi. In her free time, she spends time with her family and she also likes to travel, go camping and hiking. She also enjoys spending her summer weekends in the garden.
Cindy
Dental Therapist
Cindy joined the Dental Arts Clinic team with the goal of providing comprehensive care in an environment that helps her patients feel at ease. After a patient’s appointment, a trip to the toy drawer always brings out a smile and is a rewarding part of her day. Cindy enjoys camping, kayaking and biking.
Heather
Dental Hygienist
Heather is an experienced, hygienist who is loyal to her patients. She believes that the best dental health is achieved through a multifaceted approach, together with understanding each person’s individual needs and building relationships with her patients. Through the summer, Heather spends time camping; in the winter she enjoys travelling somewhere warm for a break from the cold.
Ashley
Dental Hygienist
Ashley graduated from the SIAST Dental Hygiene program in 2014. She has worked at Dental Arts Clinic as both a Dental Assistant and a Dental Hygienist in the past; currently she is working as one of our Dental Hygienists. Her goal is to make your dental experience a positive one – dedicating herself to helping each and every patient obtain optimal oral health. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family; together they enjoy travelling, camping and being at the lake. She also loves to fish, snowboard, paddle board and cook. She looks forward to welcoming you to our clinic.
Diana
Dental Hygienist/Dental Assistant
Diana joined our Dental Arts Clinic team after completing her Dental Assistant program in 2012. She briefly moved away to pursue her Dental Hygiene Diploma and returned upon graduation in 2022. One of her favourite aspects of her career continues to be the encouragement it provides to further her skills and education through a variety of courses. Providing comprehensive patient care alongside her esteemed peers is what she looks forward to the most at work. In her spare time, she can be found scheming her next getaway alongside her friends, family and/or 70 lb lap dog.
Annette
Dental Assistant
Annette joined Dental Arts Clinic in 2020 bringing with her over 19 years of dental assisting experience. For Annette the best part of her job is interacting with our patients and making them feel comfortable as well as working alongside our awesome dental team all while bringing a fun energy to the office. When not working, Annette enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters - whether that is running with them to their extra-curricular activities or spending time at the lake.
Cassandra
Dental Assistant
Cassandra graduated from the SIAST Dental Assisting program in 2002. She brings 22 years of experience. Her goal is to help ease any dental anxiety and give the patient the most enjoyable experience possible. She enjoys getting away with her husband, spending time with their 2 children, gardening, and macraming.
Sabrina
Dental Aide
Sabrina is our dental aid. She is responsible for our sterilization processes. She also helps with room set up and clean up alongside administrative duties and some chairside duties; she is always willing to lend a helping hand. In her free time Sabrina enjoys spending time with her cats and crafting.
Jaycee
Dental Aide
Jaycee recently joined our sterilization team. She is kept busy keeping up with our sterilization needs and helping with room set up and clean up. Her hope is to pursue a career in dental assisting in the future and is enjoying her time learning the day-to-day workings of a dental clinic. In her spare time, she likes to play soccer, work-out and go camping.
Karalee
Administrative Assistant
Karalee is our most recent addition to our administrative team. She eagerly takes on new tasks and challenges and is enjoying getting to know all our wonderful patients. Besides spending time with her family, she enjoys hiking, fishing, reading and cooking.
